Bearing throwback seventies style, the Fazley Protecc Series PSTW single-cut electric guitar case has been built from near-indestructible plywood before being coated in a timeless tweed jacket. Form-fit foam lines the interior and has been coated in soft plush that hugs the guitar on all sides, protecting the body from bumps and knocks and keeping the finish free of scuffs and scratches, while the integrated neck rest provides optimum support and doubles as an accessory compartment for stashing away a strap, spare strings, picks and other essentials. Classic yet modern, this case comes finished with secure chrome-plated latches and a solid handle.

Zeer tevreden. Een koffer moet je het vertrouwen geven dat je gitaar er veilig in ligt tijdens opslag of transport en dat is wat deze doet. Ik heb deze koffer aangeschaft voor mijn LTD EC-1000 en die past er perfect in. Snug as a bug, géén ruimte tussen de body en de wanden van de koffer en de headstock ligt vrij, zoals het hoort. Een full thickness Gibson Les Paul past overigens ook absoluut perfect (getest).
Mooie koffer, wellicht niet zo robuust als de hardshell cases van bijvoorbeeld Gibson zelf maar meer dan voldoende solide om je gitaar in op te bergen of mee te transporteren. De koffer sluit nauwkeurig (dat zie je nog wel eens anders bij die plastic hardshell koffers in dezelfde prijscategorie) en de vijf sloten sluiten perfect en makkelijk. Er wordt een setje sleutels meegeleverd. De kwaliteit van de handgreep voelt stevig aan. Het opbergvakje is klein maar handig. Genoeg voor je strap, een kabel, wat kleine accessoires.
Zelf vind ik de tweed uitstraling met het bruine kunstleer smaakvol gedaan. Het pluche interieur is mooi diepzwart. Combineert mooi met een vintage Les Paul maar een moderne metal georienteerde gitaar past net zo goed. Kortom, een mooie robuuste en zeer betaalbare koffer die universeel uitstekend bruikbaar is voor transport of opbergen van de meeste gangbare Les Paul modellen. Uitstekende keuze.
