Wrote the following about D'Addario EHR350 Half-Round Electric Guitar Strings

In China bij mr. Wu een 16 inch akoestische massieve archtop laten maken. Eerst fosfor bronze erop dat was erg country (mooi helder maar wat iel voor deze gitaar) , toen flatwounds dat was voor mij iets te donker op de bass snaren,
Deze halfrounds zijn prima, mooi stevig geluid met niet teveel hoog en veel midden, dat past wel bij een kleine archtop.

Wrote the following about D'Addario EHR350 Half-Round Electric Guitar Strings

Had hiervoor flat-wound op mijn jazzgitaar. Vond het geluid daarvan bij nader inzien toch wat te 'dof'. Deze snaren hebben wat meer boventonen, en zijn daarmee een mooi compromis tussen round-wound en flat-wound. Ze voelen wel meer aan als round-wound (d.w.z. stroef, ribbelig) dan flat-wound, dus glissando's gaan minder makkelijk.
