Made of the same carbon-steel as the brand's famed NYXL Series strings, the D'Addario XT Electric Series XTE1149 electric guitar strings aren't just 42% stronger than any regular set but feature a special microscopic coating for a tripled lifespan and have been specially treated so they repel moisture. Meanwhile, the unique Fusion Twist ball-ends make the strings 131% more stable in terms of tuning stability, while the hydrophobic layer has been kept as thin as possible to maintain the trusty, natural feel of nickel-wound strings.
