De snaren zitten op een Ibanez SRC6 Crossover en hebben een uitstekende klank!

Wrote the following about D'Addario EXL156 string set for electric bass/baritone guitar

Ik heb deze snaren op een op een Fender Blacktop Telecaster Baritone gezet waardoor deze anderhalve octaaf in toon zakte naar een bas met een met bijna een octaaf extra in de hoogte door de B- en hoge E snaar.
Door de dikte van de lage E moesten er wat aanpassing gedaan worden nl. het gaatje door de body moest groter en van de snaar moest een stukje wikkeling af.
Ondanks dat de trekkracht van deze snaren 10 kg. meer is was het niet nodig om de gitaar opnieuw af te stellen.
