Wrote the following about Ernie Ball 1126 single string for electric guitar
De behoefte aan een losse E-snaar ter vervanging bij snaarbreuk lijkt logisch, want die is extra dun. Maar in de praktijk blijkt ook de D-snaar kwetsbaar is voor zowel breuk als groeven in de snaar. Dit komt, doordat dit in een 010-046 set de dunste gewonden snaar is. Als je na een tijdje over deze snaar wrijft, dan zul je merken dat deze toch vaak groeven heeft op de plek van de frets of hierdoor zelfs zo zwak wordt dat ie breekt. Erg fijn dat Ernie Ball ook deze snaar los verkoopt, want deze vervang ik minstens net zo vaak als de hoge E-snaar.
