General

The Hybrid Slinky is a combination of two string sets with different thicknesses. For example, the unwound strings in this set come from a .009 set. These flexible strings are easy to play, ideal for solos. The wound strings, on the other hand, are a stroke thicker and come from a .010 set. This makes them slightly tighter and sound warmer. Ideal for full chords and lowered tunings, this set contains 4 pieces of this string set.

High-quality materials and packaging

The wound strings are made of nickel-plated steel wrapped around a hexagonal steel core. The non-wound strings are made of specially hardened tin-plated carbon steel. Together, they deliver a balanced, warm and bright sound, suitable for many types of music. Slinky electric strings are made with the finest and purest raw materials. All Ernie Ball strings are packed in hermetically sealed packaging to ensure the strings remain as fresh as the day they were made.

Ik gebruik al een aantal jaar snaren van Ernie Ball en probeer graag de verschillende diktes uit. Dit zijn zeer goeie snaren als je van blues houdt, ook voor power chords zijn de 3 lage snaren zeer goed.

Erg fijn dat de lage snaren een stuk dikker zijn. Levert veel gemak op vooral bij lagere stemmingen.

Ondanks alle super goede reviews ben ik minder tevreden. De snaren deden hun werk heel erg goed, totdat de dikke e snaar al na 2 weken sprong, ik snap dat snaren snel kapot kunnen gaan, maar 2 weken vind ik wel erg snel. Jammer gelukkig heb ik een 2e set.
