This set is a combination of unwound strings of a 0.11 set with extra thick wound strings. This way you can tune effortlessly low and maintain a balanced string tension on all strings. Perfect for metal!
The wound strings are made with nickeled steel wound around a hex-shaped steel core wire. The unwound strings are made of specially tempered tin-plated carbon steel and combine to provide a balanced, warm and clear sound, suited for most playing styles.
The Slinky electric strings are made of the finest and purest materials. All Ernie Ball strings are packed hermetically in order to keep the strings as fresh as they were on the day they were made.
