General

The GHS GBL Guitar Boomers is an affordable yet durable set of 010 strings for your electric guitar. The nickel-wound steel strings deliver a full, warm and ultra-bright sound. Due to the use of harder materials, these strings feel firmer under your fingers than strings with similar gauges by other brands, making them ideally suited for both standard tuning as well as lower tunings such as Eb or D. The GHS GBL Guitar Boomers’ higher string tension keeps your bass tones nicely tight and defined.

GHS Boomers: the best materials for a perfect tone

Ever since 1964, the GHS Boomers series has been the flagship for GHS guitar strings. The strings featured in this series are fashioned from nickel-plated steel, tightly wound around a stainless steel hexagonal core wire. This combination gives the strings their unusually bright characteristics and their long life. GHS Guitar Boomers are used by many musicians in every genre and are built to resist any playing style. Whether you play rock, country, pop or ultra-loud heavy metal, GHS Boomers offer you a long-lasting tone and a lively, punchy guitar sound.

GHS GBL Boomers string set for electric guitar

Eigenlijk ben ik een liefhebber van Ernie Ball maar op een nieuw aangeschafte gitaar zitten de GHS snaren en die spelen als een tierelier dus houd ik ze maar aan voor deze gitaar.

GHS GBL Boomers string set for electric guitar

Na ongeveer 5 keer kort spelen al weer roest op de snaren... Voor mij maar gewoon weer Fazley van 1,50 euro per setje. Die gaan veel langer mee, spelen een stuk soepeler en is nog goedkoper dan deze.
