Charvel and Gojira frontman, Joe Duplantier first joined forces to fight the forces of evil but ended up producing this jaw-dropping Pro Mod San Dimas Style 2 HH guitar instead. While the shape is somewhat traditional, this stunning signature model comes with a nonchalantly cool Natural Mahogany finish, that's been topped with a black scratchplate while the fretboard has a set of slightly more shameless perloid block position markers. The mounted TOM-bridge with stopbar solidifies the reliability of this already solid instrument while the electronics section has been stripped back to a no-nonsense single volume pot. If you're playing Metal, you don't actually need anything else.

Prijs-kwaliteit verhouding top. Afwerking is subliem en het is het zeker waard om "een stapje hoger" te gaan dan het budgetmodel van Joe Duplantier. Alleen al om de pickups welke behoorlijk aan hun taak voldoen, mooie definitie en zeker met wat gain eroverheen. Qua bespeelbaarheid is het zeker een gitaar om te proberen. Ik ben fan van ongelakte halzen, iets dat dit model ook heeft.
Hoe dan ook: geen spijt van deze ongeziene aankoop.
Op zondagavond besteld, volgens afspraak ook tijdig door Bax verzonden.. echter DHL heeft er weer een potje van gemaakt waardoor de gitaar twee dagen na de afgesproken leverdag werd geleverd. En dit is niet de eerste keer dat het fout gaat bij DHL..
