Product information

General

Follow in the footsteps of guitarists like Jimmy Page and Jack White by getting yourself an electric guitar by Danelectro. Today's models are much improved from the ones made in the '50s, but still offer the authentic sound Danelectro is known for. The '59M in White Pearl has a fire-red pickguard and a body made of solid spruce with an offset sound hole, giving it extra resonance and volume. The bridge is fully adjustable and the machine heads have also had a serious upgrade. Anyone looking for an electric guitar with its own distinctive look and sound should seriously consider this model, and if you play surf or rockabilly music, it's surely a must-have!

Danelectro

Danelectro was founded in 1946 by Nathan Daniel. Although the early models weren't much to look at, they were remarkably efficient. They had a wooden frame and a hardboard front and back, and the sides were finished with tape! Despite—or perhaps because of—this sober construction, these guitars possessed a characteristic sound that quickly gained popularity. Production ceased in 1968, but the brand made a comeback about 25 years later with guitars that had that same Danelectro sound, but with improved construction and hardware. The Danelectro '59M Spruce F-hole Red/White Pearl is one of them!
