General
The Danelectro '59M Spruce White Pearl Blue electric guitar looks extremely chic with its white body and blue pickguard. Unlike many other Danelectro guitars, this model combines a solid spruce top and frame with the iconic masonite used in its construction. The top features an offset sound hole that not only adds to the vintage appearance of this model, but also gives the sound a more open character. Two '56 Lipstick single-coil pickups are fitted for an authentic sound that comes straight out of the '50s. If you're looking for an electric guitar with its own distinctive style and sound, then you couldn't do much better than the Danelectro '59M Spruce in White Pearl Blue.
Danelectro
Danelectro was founded in 1946 by Nathan Daniel. Although the early models weren't much to look at, they were remarkably efficient. They had a wooden frame and a hardboard front and back, and the sides were finished with tape! Despite—or perhaps because of—this sober construction, these guitars possessed a characteristic sound that quickly gained popularity. Production ceased in 1968, but the brand made a comeback about 25 years later with guitars that had that same Danelectro sound, but with improved construction and hardware. The Danelectro '59M Spruce White Pearl Blue is one of them!
