It has well-defined pickups - with a wide range of tones - not harsh or muddy.
Comfy asymmetrical neck profile. Smooth ebony fretboard. No sharp fret ends. Low action. Super easy to play.
High quality locking tuners. Easy string changes.
Lubricated nut. Rock solid - stays in tune.
Maple flame top looks classy and subtle.
Side output jack - not next to the knobs.
I changed the clear knobs to black speed knobs, as I think they look better. No other mods needed. ;)

Dit is mijn eerste , echte gitaar! Hiervoor 2x oefen gitaar gehad van circa 100-150 euro
(Epiphone Les paul special II)

Ik had al langere tijd oog op een SG maar door mijn gebrek aan kennis van deze producten nooit verder gekeken. En sinds de corona toestand in ons land ben ik zoveel meer gaan spelen en oefenen dat ik gefrustreerd raakte met mijn goedkope gitaren. Fretbuzz , bleven slecht in tune. Heb nog geprobeerd om dat te fixen met nieuwe Nut en tuners maar tevergeefs met verslagen gevoel.

Vorige kwam deze SG uit met nieuwe serie en heeft alle features waar ik belang bij had (zijn er niet veel)/
Juiste hout voor sustain , de locking tuners die zorgen dat je snaren minder hoeft te wikkelen dus beter in stemming blijven. + het gemak van verwisselen.

En de veelzijdigheid van de pickups, met split optie voor single coil en een fijne neck!

En daarbij de looks, ik hou erg van een hout look maar ook van zwart, en aangezien ik al 2 gitaren hebben die pikzwart zijn , heeft deze een tintje hout onderaan.

Erg mooi en voldoet voor mij, ik heb m nog niet naar een luthier gebracht maar ik heb nog geen issue's ermee. Dus ik speel lekker door, ik heb er Ernie ball Burly opgedaan en gestemd in B-standard op het moment zonder aanpassingen !
