General

The Horizon-8 FX Black Satin is a powerful 8-string electric guitar for guitarists who want to get extra range and control from their instrument. The 47 mm thick alder body with multi-binding is combined with a three-piece hard maple neck and an ebony fingerboard with 24 frets. The 666 mm scale length and 55 mm wide locking nut are tailored to the wider range of eight strings. The neck-through-body construction and heel-less neck joint ensure a direct response, long sustain and comfortable access to the higher positions. The black satin finish gives the guitar a sleek and modern look.

Horizon-8 FX: built for control

For a powerful and defined tone, the Horizon-8 FX is fitted with a Seymour Duncan SENTIENT-8 in the neck position and a NAZGÛL-8 at the bridge. This combination delivers a warm foundation and a tight, aggressive attack that really comes into its own with modern metal, progressive riffs and low-tuned parts. The fixed bridge ensures stable string tension and precise intonation, whilst the 3-way pickup selector, master volume and master tone controls keep operation simple. The GOTOH SG360-07 MG-T locking tuners complete the package and ensure reliable tuning.
