The ESP LTD AJ-7 is an Andy James signature that is exactly the same as the AJ-1, apart from its seventh string, that is. This delightfully straightforward black shredder axe has the characteristic body shape as the instruments from LTD's H series and is made of mahogany, for a powerful, warm yet clear base tone. Two active EMG humbuckers (the 66 and 57) take care of combining clarity with punchy vintage sounds that are rich in headroom. The guitar's neck-through-body and strings-through-body construction ensure its excellent sustain.

AJ-7: seven-string metal
