ESP LTD M-400 Maple

The ESP LTD M-400 sets itself apart from other shredders with its maple fingerboard. Combined with the bolted-on construction of the neck and the Seymour Duncan humbuckers, it delivers a remarkably bright tone with plenty of bite. That makes it eminently suited to fast playing, as all notes are properly articulated. What's more, the passive pickups respond perfectly to the dynamics in your playing. Don't be fooled to think it's a one-trick pony, though. This guitar also allows for gorgeous cleans, while its neck pickup offers a warm lead.

M-400 Maple: gorgeous and easy to use

Besides the maple fingerboard, the attractive Blue Chrome Metallic finish is also a welcome addition to the M series. It gives the guitar a modern look and looks especially great under stage lighting. Another cool detail is the headstock with matching finish, making the maple fingerboard pop out even more. The guitar's sleek look is carried through in its controls. With just one volume knob and a pickup switch that doesn't get in your way, you can focus entirely on your playing. The ESP brand

In 1975, Hisatake Shibuya opened his Electric Sound Products shop in Japan. His high-quality replacement parts soon earned him the reputation he deserved, and it wasn't long before the shop started to turn out its very own guitars under the name ESP. In the 1980s, the brand got a real boost when numerous metal bands, such as Metallica, started to use its guitars. These days, ESP offers a wide range of versatile instruments, from high-grade Custom Shop models to the affordable LTD series.
