General
The ESP LTD M-7 Baritone Black Metal II is designed for tight low tunings and modern metal riffs, without compromising on playing comfort. With a 27-inch baritone scale length, you get extra definition and tension on the low strings, ideal for drop tunings on a 7-string guitar. The neck-thru construction also ensures plenty of sustain and quick access to all 24 frets. The combination of an alder body, a 3-piece maple neck and a Makassar ebony fingerboard makes this guitar tight, direct and exceptionally responsive.
Electronics and hardware for tight riffs
Under the bonnet, you’ll find a Seymour Duncan Mortal Coil 7 active bridge pickup with a 3-voice function, controlled via a volume control and a voice selection toggle. This allows you to switch quickly between different tones, from tight and aggressive to fuller and more modern. The Hipshot bridge with string-through construction delivers stability and attack, whilst LTD locking tuners keep the tuning firmly in place. Durability has also been taken into account: the 24 XJ stainless steel frets are built to last. Please note: an MH-XL FORM FIT case is suitable, but is not included.
