General

The snake has shed its skin! That's right, ESP LTD's Snakebyte James Hetfield Signature - a rugged EX-style electric guitar - is now available with a Black Satin finish. Equipped with a set of the by now familiar EMG JH "HET"-set active humbuckers, it treats you to a sound that's perfect for uncompromising metal. Nevertheless, the humbuckers also provide the warmth and dynamics that are usually associated with passive pickups. In short, the Snakebyte is an outstanding instrument, even if you're not that big a fan of the Metallica frontman.

Snakebyte Black Satin: a full sound

Both the guitar's body and its slim U-profile neck are made of mahogany, producing a sound that's rich and full. The Snakebyte seems to be built like a tank, so you'll never feel like you have to hold back. For increased playing ease, the ebony neck is fitted with 22 Extra Jumbo frets, while a TonePros locking tune-o-matic bridge and LTD locking machines heads ensure optimal tuning stability. If you're looking for a real player that can handle intense gigs, the Snakebyte's the guitar for you!

The ESP brand

In 1975, Hisatake Shibuya opened his Electric Sound Products shop in Japan. His high-quality replacement parts soon earned him the reputation he deserved, and it wasn't long before the shop started to turn out its very own guitars under the name ESP. In the 1980s, the brand got a real boost when numerous metal bands, such as Metallica, started to use its guitars. These days, ESP offers a wide range of versatile instruments, from high-grade Custom Shop models to the affordable LTD series.

Bax Music Warranty This product comes with a 3-year warranty, the strings come with a manufacturing defects warranty.
