The Wolfgang Standard QM Baked Maple: Rich, Dynamic and Wild

Alongside the quilted maple top comes a body made of basswood which, for fully empowered amplified mids, is fitted with two direct-mount Wolfgang humbuckers. Their core magnets offer rich and dynamic sound with easily distinguishable softer and louder notes while the compound fretboard radius runs from 12 to 16 inches to accommodate tenacious rhythm parts and razor-sharp solos. What's more, looking at the Floyd Rose Special on this EVH WG STG, you can rest assured that over-the-top tremolo effects are a given.

A beautiful instrument in terms of looks, playability and sound. The neck profile is amazing, comfortable and fast. The pickups are hot but clear. The only criticism I have is the frets are rolled quite a bit so it is easy to pull the high E off the fretboard.

Great guitar perfect condition although it is B stock purchased at an amazing price... no one else had this guitar in stock will use Bax again looking for a rickenbacker.

Ik zoul niet gauw iets kopen in dit prijssegment maar na het lezen van diverse positieve reviews was mijn interesse gewekt in deze gitaar. Aangenaam verrast na het uitpakken. Dit is de eerste gitaar (en ik heb ook duurdere) die 'out of the box' een goede setup en intonatie had! Bespeelbaarheid is zeer goed en het geluid is onvoorstelbaar. Gitaar blijjft ook goed op stemming na gebruik van de Floyd Rose. Hou er wel rekening mee dat het hier gaat om een non-floating tremolo dus die rust op de body als je hem niet gebruikt. Dus alleen duikvluchten.. Mocht je dit als een nadeel zien, het is wel trouw aan Eddy van Halen specs en omdat de brug rust op de body heb je wel een geweldige sustain van hier tot Jakarta. Specs liegen er ook niet om, charred maple neck, steel frets, Basswood body... Geld goed besteed.
