Mounted with a set of three Wilkinson MWVS single-coils; directly based on classic '60s pickups and loaded with ceramic magnets, this electric guitar has been fully set-up to deliver the incredibly versatile tone that ST-models are so renowned for.

Wilkinson have also taken care of the modern two-point tremolo bridge and set of six, flat-block saddle that not only firm-up intonation but provide a comfortable palm-rest for your playing hand. Heerlijk gitaartje. Fazley altijd vermeden maar onterecht, naar nu blijkt. De bulky neck ofwel baseball batt is aanvankelijk even wennen alsmede het zware gewicht maar dat went snel. Andersom is weer wennen als je 'n dunner halsje oppakt. De ceramic pick-ups hebben niet dat klokachtige, glasheldere Hendrix gesnerp maar klinken heel eigen; krachtig, vol en warm, standje 2 is mijn favoriet met een snappy attack. De potmeters gaan lekker stroef en zijn klasse. Wat spelen met de toonregeling brengt je naar heel andere dimensies. Hoefde niks af te stellen en de frets zijn perfect. Heb alleen het droge fretboard wat ingeölied. Na de snaren ingespeeld te hebben ontstemt de tremolo totaal niet meer in tegenstelling tot mijn oude Japanse Fender clone. De body bestaat zo te zien uit 2 verlijmde delen waarvan het grootste gedeelte uit één stuk en een kleiner stuk 'bovenvleugel'. Er is iets met deze gitaar waardoor ik 'm telkens weer op wil pakken, kweenie wat dat is. Voor die 142€ (dankzij 10% saleskorting) is er gewoon geen betere te koop.
