General
This Fender American Elite Stratocaster HSS Shawbucker has an Olympic Pearl finish and a maple neck that gives it a great look. It also has an incredibly versatile tonal palette thanks to its humbucker and single-coil pickups. This guitar is full of significant details like handy locking machine heads and a modern 2-point tremolo, which shows how much effort has gone into the development of this legendary electric guitar. It even comes complete with a case!
American Elite: broad tonal palette
This Stratocaster is equipped with an HSS pickup configuration, which means you get a potent ShawBucker in the bridge position and Deluxe Noiseless single-coil Strat pickups in the middle and neck positions. Thanks to a built-in S-1 switch, you've got a number of possible pickup combinations at your fingertips. What's more, you can use the push/pull potentiometer to bypass the bridge pickup's tone circuit. This is especially handy when you want to add some extra attitude to your performance.
Neck innovation
One of the most important parts of an electric guitar is its neck. For a truly great-sounding guitar that feels great too, Fender gave this American Strat an innovative compound neck profile that goes from a modern C to a D and a compound fretboard radius that goes from 9.5 to 14 inches. The result is nothing short of sublime playing comfort!

Fender knows like no other that you never change a winning team. Besides a few little adjustments here and there, they usually don't mess with their successful models too much. Until now. The famous manufacturer decided to get rid of the Deluxe name and re-brand it with the slightly classier Elite moniker. Of course, this also goes with a few adjustments for the various Teles and Strats, as well as the Jazz, Precision and Dimension bass guitars.
