General
This American Elite Stratocaster in Aged Cherry Burst is one of the best American Fender models. It has a maple fretboard and an ash body that was designed after an American Deluxe model. One important characteristic of this new design is the heel, which makes access to the highest frets easier than ever. The position of the screw for adjusting the truss rod is now closer to the body too, making it easier to use. A Fender Elite case is also included with this model to keep it safe.
Fretboard, neck profile and Noiseless single-coils
From a top-class Fender guitar like this American Elite Stratocaster, you can expect optimal playing comfort to go along with its breathtaking sound. To that end, this Strat has a neck with a compound profile that goes from a modern C to a modern D, and a compound fretboard radius that flattens out the higher up the neck you go. These features make playing both chords and solos as easy as possible. This special Strat is equipped with the latest Noiseless single-coil pickups that, thanks to the famous S-1 switching functionality, put no less than 10 different sound settings at your disposal.
American Elite series
In 2015, Fender decided to give their American Deluxe series a serious upgrade. The goal was to elevate the range to the next level and emphasise its exclusive character. When they were finished however, Fender decided that the term Deluxe was no longer appropriate and decided to rename the series American Elite instead. Each instrument embodies the absolute best of Fender's illustrious past and bold future. The newly designed body, the improved Deluxe Noiseless pickups and the S-1 switch are just some of the special characteristics of the American Elite Stratocaster models.

Fender knows like no other that you never change a winning team. Besides a few little adjustments here and there, they usually don't mess with their successful models too much. Until now. The famous manufacturer decided to get rid of the Deluxe name and re-brand it with the slightly classier Elite moniker. Of course, this also goes with a few adjustments for the various Teles and Strats, as well as the Jazz, Precision and Dimension bass guitars.
