The versatile Stratocaster Tobacco Sunburst
Ever since the '50s, the Fender Stratocaster has been famous for its versatility. This particular American Elite Strat is also very versatile thanks to the Deluxe Noiseless single coil pickups that give that classic Fender sparkle, but without the noise that's often associated with single coil pickups. Furthermore, the compound profile neck is designed for fast and easy playing, making this Strat ideal for all playing styles. The C-shaped profile at the nut turns into a D-shaped profile as you move further along the neck towards the body.
American Elite: for the real enthusiast
The American Elite series is the spiritual successor of the critically acclaimed American Deluxe series. Fender is building on their recipe for success with their American Elite models, but have added some unique innovative touches to the mix. All the American Elite models have a Double Action truss rod for easy adjustments, and both the fretboard and neck have a compound profile for optimal playability. Moreover, the Deluxe Noiseless pickups are a big leap in pickup design and are only available in this series. The Fender American Elite Stratocaster comes complete with a luxury Elite Case with an elegant silver lining.

Fender knows like no other that you never change a winning team. Besides a few little adjustments here and there, they usually don't mess with their successful models too much. Until now. The famous manufacturer decided to get rid of the Deluxe name and re-brand it with the slightly classier Elite moniker. Of course, this also goes with a few adjustments for the various Teles and Strats, as well as the Jazz, Precision and Dimension bass guitars.
