More than half a century after its introduction, the Telecaster has not waned in popularity. Fundamentally, the design has remained unchanged throughout the decades, but Fender have given it all kinds of upgrades in terms of playing comfort and sound over the years. This American Elite Telecaster MN combines the past and the future into one high-quality instrument. Some minor improvements made to the Telecaster's original design include Deluxe Noiseless Tele pickups that give your single-coils all the sparkle without all the noise. What's more, it features a S-1 switch and No-Load circuitry for an extra-broad tonal palette!
American Elite Tele MN: tested, legendary, modern
The combination of an alder body and a maple neck has stood the test of time for most Telecasters, and Fender equipped this American Elite Tele with a maple fretboard as well for even more sparkling trebles. Thanks to the two single-coils, you can lay down a solid foundation for that unmistakable Tele twang to really come through. The neck has been fully redesigned for optimal playing comfort and features a compound fretboard radius and a compound neck profile that goes from a Modern C to a D. This makes the Fender American Elite Telecaster just as suitable for stable, open chords at the first frets as it is for smooth tone bending and fast solos in the higher positions.
American Elite Telecaster
In 2015, Fender decided to upgrade their entire American Deluxe series based on the wishes of their biggest fans. Fender took a good look at the Telecaster design itself and altered it where necessary without affecting the integrity of the original design. When all adjustments were done, the term 'Deluxe' just didn't cut it any more, which is why the legendary brand renamed it the American Elite series. These instruments are simply top-of-the-line and boast more than 50 years of experience and skilled craftsmanship!

Ik heb 'm teruggebracht. En omdat ik de kartonnen doos niet meer had krijg ik als straf 85 euro minder terug. Nieuwe regel schijnbaar. Dure testrit en dure doos. Maar goedkoop is duurkoop, want dit is ook meteen m'n laatste aankoop bij Bax.

De noten spatten van de gitaar af! Deze noiseless zijn echt supergoed. Heel stil, ook bij oversturing, maar als ze geluid moeten produceren dan komt er ook gelijk kwaliteit vandaan.
Dat maakt deze gitaar gelijk ook heel veelzijdig, van jazz tot rock (of jazz rock :) ) de rest van mijn arsenaal kan ik thuis laten.
De hals is erg comfortabel en dat geld ook voor de body.
Bax heeft de gitaar goed afgesteld. In eerste instantie zaten er nog bramen aan de brug wat mijn handpalm niet zo op prijs stelde maar dit werdt ter plaatse verholpen. Top service dus!
De elite is met recht een top gitaar.

Dit is de beste Tele die ik ooit heb gespeeld, door het model van de Elite heb je alles wat je kan wensen bij een echte klassieke telecaster met het comfort van een moderne gitaar:
- Super stabiele tuning
- Single coil pick-ups zoals je op een tele moet hebben, maar dan noiseless! Absoluut geen geluid uit je pickups totdat je gaat rocken!
- s1 switch voor een humbucker geluid
- Moderne contouren van de body waardoor je geen vervelende scherpe rand in je ribbenkast hebt steken

Prachtig uit een stuk hout met houtmotief zichtbaar door de lak.

Comfortabele nek en makkelijk aan te passen

Thursday 21 January 2016Fender knows like no other that you never change a winning team. Besides a few little adjustments here and there, they usually don't mess with their successful models too much. Until now. The famous manufacturer decided to get rid of the Deluxe name and re-brand it with the slightly classier Elite moniker. Of course, this also goes with a few adjustments for the various Teles and Strats, as well as the Jazz, Precision and Dimension bass guitars.
