General

If you're in the market for a Thinline variation of the well-known Fender Telecaster sound, then this American Elite with a natural finish and maple neck fits the bill. This tasteful, lightweight Fender Thinline Telecaster has a hollow body made of ash, luxurious white bindings and a traditional f-shaped sound hole. Fender have also equipped this American Elite guitar with a revamped moulded case for optimal protection.

American Elite Telecaster Thinline: compound and playing comfort

The bolted-on neck of this guitar has a compound neck profile and fretboard radius. For even more playing comfort at the higher frets, this American Telecaster features a bevelled heel. Thanks to a dual-action truss rod just above the 22nd medium jumbo fret, this Fender Thinline Elite is also easy to adjust. An Elite Suspension bridge and three brass saddles ensure a bright, full tone and this particular TE Thinline models boasts extra sustain and sparkle!

NAMM 2016: Big Fender Name Change: Deluxe Is Now Elite!

Fender knows like no other that you never change a winning team. Besides a few little adjustments here and there, they usually don't mess with their successful models too much. Until now. The famous manufacturer decided to get rid of the Deluxe name and re-brand it with the slightly classier Elite moniker. Of course, this also goes with a few adjustments for the various Teles and Strats, as well as the Jazz, Precision and Dimension bass guitars.
