The Fender Telecaster is, without doubt, one of the most versatile electric guitars ever designed. Thanks to its wide range of sounds, its attractive look and its high level of playing comfort, it can be found in almost every genre. As its name suggests, this American Original '60s Telecaster carries design features that come straight out of the '60s. In addition to the rosewood fretboard, it has a double-bound alder body and maple neck that all feature a nitrocellulose lacquer finish. This not only allows the wood to breathe, it improves resonance and adds to the authentic look. A Deluxe hardshell case is also included.
American Original ‘60s Telecaster
For optimal playing comfort, Fender has given this American Tele a modern 9.5-inch fretboard radius and a '60s C neck profile. The vintage tall frets offer good grip, making it easy to grab notes. The two Pure Vintage '64 Gray-Bottom Single-Coil pickups have staggered poles to offer a better-balanced volume across the strings. Other details that take this fantastic Fender to a different level are the 3-ply eggshell pickguard and the bone nut.
