Unusually, the solid body of this Strat has been made from spruce before being sealed in a coat of satin-gloss and mounted with a set of three Yosemite single-coils, which have been exclusively developed for this series. This combo lays down a solid, clear and brightly rich foundation and, since each pup has also been given a special shellac coating, the dynamic response is given a nice boost and the feedback is expertly reined in. Another unique upgrade is the added push/pull tone pot, which can be popped out to shift the neck pickup into parallel, essentially doubling your sonic options.

The maple neck comes with all of the perks you would expect of an American-made Strat, from the satin-gloss finish of the backside to the modern-C profile. Meanwhile, the rosewood fretboard polishes off the smooth playability of this model with a classic 9.5 inch radius and a full set of twenty-two jumbo frets, lightening the load for your fret-hand, and unshakable tuning stability is assured by a set of Fender ClassicGear machine heads, which retain a vintage look while boasting modern ease when tuning and re-stringing.
