The Fender Stratocaster is one of the world's most iconic guitar models. Since its introduction in 1954, it has become renowned for its versatility and sound. This left-handed Strat is part of Fender's American Pro series that replaces the American Standard series. It's a top-quality model that will provide years of playing pleasure to amateur musicians and professionals alike. It even comes with its own Elite Molded Hardshell case so that you can transport it safely from A to B.

American Pro Strat LH: neck

This Strat has a maple neck with a satin-gloss polyurethane finish which makes it smooth as well as fast. The Modern Deep C neck profile is comfortable in the hand allowing you to play for extended periods of time without any problem. The fretboard radius measures 9.5 inches and there are 22 narrow, tall frets that add to the excellent playability, intonation and tuning stability.

Pickups and sound

Master pickup designer Tim Shaw developed the V-Mod pickups especially for the American Pro series. Each pickup has its own unique mix of alnico magnets depending on its position on the guitar. The result is a wonderfullly-balanced sound with plenty of power. There's also a Treble Bleed Circuit which means that the high tones are retained even when the volume is turned down. Finally, you can add subtle vibrato effects thanks to the stable 2-point tremolo bridge.

Fender American Professional Stratocaster

Top gitaar. Wat een heerlijke sound! Beter gaat het niet worden wat mij betreft! Het treble bleed circuit doet wat het belooft en qua hals is het de makkelijkst spelende strat die ik in mijn handen heb gehad.. De narrow tall frets zijn ook erg fijn! Minpunten? Niet echt. De e-snaren zitten wel erg dicht aan de rand van het fretboard, dat was even wennen. Locking tuners zouden helemaal perfect zijn geweest maar die kan je er zelf ook op zetten natuurlijk. Ik vind deze gitaar beter klinken dan de elite maar dat is een kwestie van smaak (en een paar honderd euro)... De versie met rosewood fretboard heeft mijn voorkeur boven die van maple maar ook dat is een kwestie van smaak. Heel veel verschil hoor je niet maar het rosewood fretboard voelt wat soepeler aan.
