The continuous development of Fender's popular American Standard series has led to this new series of American Pro guitars and basses. Naturally, the Stratocaster with its renowned SSS pickup confiuration is represented. This American Pro Strat also has sealed, self-lubricating machine heads for excellent tuning stability and a 2-point tremolo bridge for smooth string bending. A molded Elite Hardshell case is included with this solid-body guitar.
American Pro Stratocaster: classic sounds for the present day
The three single-coil pickups have evolved for this new American Pro series. The specially developed magnetic core contains a combination of alnico magnets that take a classic design into the present day. Now, you get that sparkling Strat sound with a higher output and more definition. Even when the volume is turned down, the sound remains bright thanks to the new Treble Bleed Circuit this Fender Strat is equipped with.
Improved playing comfort
The American Standard Strat may be known for its great feel, but this American Professional series Stratocaster has an even more refined neck design. It's a combination between a U and a modern C profile that gives it more mass and makes it more robust. The narrow, tall frets also improve playing comfort, making it easier to press down the strings and giving it more accurate intonation.
