While the classic Fender Stratocaster is already extremely versatile, the new American Ultra Series Stratocaster HHS actually kicks it up a fret! Not just because of the robust sound produced by the Ultra Double Tap humbucker down at the bridge, but also thanks to the two Ultra Noiseless Hot Strat pickups that offer souped-up single-coil without any hum. You even have the option to activate the S-1 switch on the volume control to turn the bridge pickup into a single-coil sound without losing out on volume.
The American Ultra Stratocaster HSS: Kick It Up a Fret
Fender haven't made any compromises when it comes to the playing comfort of this modernised Strat either. The D-profile neck and rounded heel ensure a snug-and-fast feel, while the compound radius supports smooth rhythm parts since it starts out at 10 inches at the nut and graduates to a flatter 14 inches down by the body so you can still effortlessly bend notes higher up the fretboard. Also, Fender have equipped the American Ultra Stratocaster HSS with a modern, 2-point tremolo bridge complete with six block saddles so you can enrich your performance with tremolo trickery and comfortably rest your right hand whenever you palm-mute.

Putting a new set of strings on this tone-machine couldn't be any easier thanks to the deluxe locking machine heads which don't require any extra string winding and lock the strings firmly in place. To make the life of any Strat aficionado even easier, Fender have also opted for a comfortable belly-cut and, so you can keep your precious American Ultra Strat in pristine condition, this ultra-tight axe comes wrapped up in a matching Elite moulded case.
