General
The Fender American Vintage II 1951 Telecaster has been closely modelled after the first real electric Tele to guarantee that original fifties-style look, sound and feel. Coated in high-quality nitrocellulose lacquer, the solid body has a little extra room to breathe which gives you a more natural sound in comparison to solid-bodies that have been graced with a different type of finish.
The American Vintage II 1951 Telecaster: Authentic Look and Feel
Besides a trusty looking and feeling ash body, this Tele boasts a period-accurate U-profile neck, a classic 7.25" fretboard radius and 21 vintage tall frets, giving players with slightly larger hands a fully authentic feel whether you're slinging licks or chords.
The Sustained Twang of Pure Vintage '51 Single-Coil Tele Pickups
The string-through-body Pure Vintage 3-Saddle Tele bridge not only matches the looks and sound but guarantees a nicely sustained, twangy foundation sound that's amplified by two specially-designed single-coil pickups. These Pure Vintage '51 Tele Pickups come alongside a set of a standard-issue pots so you can effortlessly dial in any renowned, old-school Tele-sound. Last but not least, it's worth mentioning that this superb Fender offering comes packed inside a vintage-style tweed case that's been finished with a deluxe red interior.
