This Fender Telecaster combines the iconic looks of a legendary electric guitar with the unique feel of a Thinline model, all while catching that old-school groove. Enter the American Vintage II 1972 Telecaster Thinline. In addition to two Wide-Range double-coil pickups, this semi-hollow guitar features a perfectly placed F-style sound hole and comes complete with a black, vintage-style case so it can be safely lugged to gigs and rehearsals.
The American Vintage II 1972 Tele Thinline: That Real Fender Feel
Like most Fender-made originals, this semi-hollow-bodied guitar has a lightweight ash body and a 3-bolt, C-profile maple neck. Not only that, the American Vintage II 1972 Tele Thinline offers a 7.25" fretboard radius, 21 vintage tall frets and a period-correct high-gloss poly finish of the neck and body to guarantee that trusty feel.
Bright-Yet-Beefy Wide-Range Humbucker Sounds
The new Authentic CuNiFe Wide-Range Humbucking pickups have been specifically designed to provide access to the same range of bright-yet-robust sounds as the original Thinline Telecaster, while the custom Pure Vintage 6-saddle string-through-body hardtail bridge, the six bent steel saddles and the Fender F-Stamped tuners both firm up the tuning stability and polish off the traditional look.
