If you're a Tele aficionado looking for a superb mid-seventies Telecaster Deluxe and one that comes at a more attainable price than a real example made in 1975, this Fender American Vintage Series II model may just be your dream-come-true. Featuring a period-correct alder body and a 1975 C-profile maple neck that's been firmly secured with three bolts, this electric solid-body guitar offers the smooth playability of a construction that's more than withstood the test of time. Besides a slightly larger, '70s-style headstock, the neck of the American Vintage II Tele has a 21-medium-jumbo-fret, 9.5"-radius fretboard and sports a high-gloss polyurethane lacquer.
