Fender present the American Vintage II 1977 Telecaster Custom, giving guitarists that have been dreaming of getting their hands on a premium vintage model a chance to make that dream come true without the need for a time-machine. This model boasts the same specs as the '77 original, including a solid alder body and a 3-bolt, 1977 C-profile maple neck, both of which have been sealed with high-gloss poly lacquer. Needless to say, the rosewood fretboard has a traditional 7.25" fretboard radius and comes lined with twenty-one medium jumbo frets.
The American Vintage II 1977 Tele Custom: Amplify Vintage Vibes With Ample Force
The bright-and-powerful acoustic sound of this American Vintage II Custom Tele is picked up by two specially designed pickups: an Authentic CuNiFe Wide-Range Humbucking neck pickup for full-fat tone and a Pure Vintage '77 Single-Coil bridge pickup for that typical T-style twang. The Pure Vintage 6-Saddle Tele bridge and custom-designed F-Stamped tuners keep the electric guitar in tune during licks, riffs and rhythm parts, and so it can be kept in good nick, Fender include a black vintage-style guitar case with every example.
