General

The Fender Deluxe Stratocaster HSS in Candy Apple Red is a luxury version of the popular Mexican classic. It features a Vintage Twin Head humbucker that can also function as a single-coil pickup, thanks to the S-1 switch. Locking machine heads and a stable 2-point tremolo unit offer excellent tuning stability and intonation.

Candy Apple Red

Candy Apple Red is a colour that's just as popular with car fanatics as it is with guitarists. It was first used by Fender in 1963 and quickly proved to be just as popular as black and sunburst on Stratocasters and Telecasters. It's not hard to see why when you take a look at this Candy Apple Red version of the Fender Deluxe Stratocaster HSS. There's just something special about a Strat in this colour.

Construction

An alder body and a maple neck form the basis for the classic Strat sound this model produces. Add a maple fretboard for a touch of extra warmth and a 12-inch fretboard radius for optimal playability, and you have a model that any guitarist would be pleased to play.
