If the Fender Duo-Sonic electric guitar isn't quite stunning enough for you, what about this Torino Red version? It has a maple fretboard and a mint green pickguard for a look as striking as its sound. The Duo-Sonic has a small offset body making it ideal for smaller guitarists. With a shorter scale length of 24 inches and 22 medium jumbo frets it's easy and comfortable to play too.
Duo-Sonic: versatile sound
Fender have equipped the Duo-Sonic with two passive single-coil pickups that, together with the alder body, deliver a balanced sound. Chords sound exceptionally bright and the character of each note can be heard clearly. With the tone controls and 3-way pickup switch, you can always find a suitable sound. A fixed Fender Hardtail bridge with six saddles is fitted that provides excellent intonation, sustain and optimal tuning stability.

Wrote the following about Fender Duo-Sonic
When I was walking the Musicstore Fender wall at Cologne, I was very disappointed not able to find a Strat or Tele where I could master the neck, they were too big to handle for my hands. Now with these specs of the Duo or Offset series my dream seems to have become a reality. Rest only the price, you can bicker about that, an USA Strat or Tele cost you 3 or 4 times as much. Now I have clones instead of these Mexico ones fabricated, made in Taiwan at Original Fender specs at far cheaper prices. Should I now jalours? No for they are satisfying my needs, but there is still that longing for the REAL stuff.
Conclusion: if you got the do re mi ? Take them home..and love and of course play them...
