Product information

General

Jazzmaster-fans take note: Fender has released this special Limited Edition model. Besides its great Ocean Turquoise finish, this American Special has another ace up its sleeve: a Bigsby tremolo. That's right, the famous manufacturer gave its legendary guitar a bit of a boost. Of course, it still has all the elements that made the original such a hit, like the large '70s-style headstock, but it's grown into a guitar with its own personality, partly thanks to the Vintage '65 pickups and Tune-o-matic bridge.

Well-protected

Let's take a closer look at those pickups. Both the neck and bridge pickups are American Vintage '65 Jazzmaster single-coils with cream-coloured pickup covers that make them look like P90s. These puppies will allow you to produce anything from a bright, rounded clean sound to a nice crunch and a screaming overdrive. Whatever you need, the Jazzmaster will deliver. Thanks to the 3-way pickup switch and two knobs (volume and tone), you can easily fine-tune your sound. We'd also like to extend an honourable mention to the cool Witch Hat control knobs that stand out nicely against the 3-ply black/white/black pickguard.

Like putty in your hands

Regular Jazzmasters used to have some issues with the bridge, where strings would occasionally slip off their saddles. Thanks to the Bigsby's Tune-o-matic bridge, however, that's not a problem anymore. What's more, the large headstock has two T-style string trees that provide the ideal angle for your strings to run from the tuners to the neck and body. Finally, the neck has a rosewood fingerboard and a C profile that's so comfortable, you'll never want to put it down!
