This Fender Mustang in Black is an offset model that is manufactured in Mexico. It has a scale length of 24 inches that gives it a feel and sound that is slightly different from a standard Fender. The body is made of alder and the maple neck and fretboard has a familiar C profile and 9.5-inch radius.

Older Mustangs often had an unusual bridge type fitted, however this model has a hardtail Strat bridge for excellent sustain and string vibration transfer. With two Mustang single-coil pickups, a 3-way pickup switch and controls for volume and tone, the Mustang offers a wide variety of sounds suitable for a number of genres. If you're looking for a Fender that's just a little bit different from most others, the Mustang may be the model for you.
