Guitarists looking for a Strat with even more style than usual should consider the Fender Standard Stratocaster Plus Top. As its name suggests, it has a beautiful flame maple top. This particular solid-body electric guitar has a lovely Tobacco Sunburst finish that allows the natural wood grain to show through making each model truly unique.

Standard Stratocaster Plus Top: versatile sounds

A guitar that looks good is nothing unless it sounds good too, of course. To this end, the Plus Top Strat has a body made of alder underneath its maple top. This combination of wood types along with three single-coil pickups, two tone controls and a 5-way pickup switch give this instrument a broad range of sounds making it extremely versatile.

Not only does the Fender Standard Stratocaster Plus Top have a great look and sound, it's comfortable to play too. That's down to its modern C profile neck that has a satin gloss finish on the back.
