The legendary Leo Fender once again joined forces with George Fullerton to continue together under the name G&L. This guitar brand is known in particular for electric guitars that are reminiscent of its classic designs in appearance, but with smart, modern improvements. The ASAT Classic Blues from the affordable Tribute series is a perfect example. This guitar represents a contemporary reinterpretation of Leo's very first electric solidbody from the 1950s. While staying true to the vintage look of the original, its versatile SH pickup configuration makes it suitable for even more diverse styles of music, from sparkling country and warm blues to even energetic rock.

First of all, this G&L has a poplar body, which makes it lighter than many traditional TE-style electric guitars. This makes it more comfortable to play, while giving you a full and balanced base tone with subtly reduced mids for more clarity in the lows and highs. resulting in a rich and dynamic sound. This Tribute ASAT Classic Bluesboy features the same high-quality hardware and electronics as American G&L guitars. For example, a Magnetic Field Design singlecoil at the bridge provides modern, bright sounds with slightly more warmth and higher output than traditional single-coil pickups. In contrast, the AS4255C Alnico humbucker at the neck delivers rich, vintage dual-coil tones that are perfect for both sultry cleans and more crunchy leads. The bridge looks classic at first glance, but features six individually adjustable brass saddles for optimal intonation and playability.
