General

The Gibson Original Collection Flying V bears all of the tasty hallmarks of the standard 1967 model but comes with a finish that harks back to the original 1958 design. As such, the mahogany body comes coated in a transparent, high-gloss nitrocellulose lacquer that's carried through to the set-in mahogany neck, giving the natural grain of the wood room to fully shine. Meanwhile, the smooth playability of this V-shaped legend is provided by the tried-and-tested Slim Taper neck profile and the 12-inch radius of the rosewood fretboard.

The Gibson Flying V: Spiced-Up Vintage PAF-Flavour

The mahogany base sets up this guitar with its warm, mid-rich foundation, while the vintage, PAF-flavoured amplified sound has been spiced up by a pair of Burstbuckers. The Burstbucker 3 at the bridge brings the bright and sweet, high-gain, while the Burstbucker 2 at the neck adds that unmistakable, cream-filled double-coil sound, with a touch of bite. With the two volume pots, single tone pot, and three-way selector switch, a vast tonal range can be freely explored while the chrome-plated hardware and Graph Tech nut ensure stable tuning. This authentic Flying V comes complete with a form-fitting case and a Gibson Accessory Kit.
