With this Polara from the Newark St. Collection, Guild brings you an electric guitar with a special combination of timeless design and modern features. So you get an ergonomic and lightweight mahogany body loaded with a set of Guild HB-2+ humbuckers. These passive elements use an alnico V magnet, so you can count on a full and distinctive sound with a fast response. User-friendly master volume and tone controls add to the Polara's no-nonsense design.

Polara: fine playing experience

The Guild Polara has a set-neck construction, making all 22 narrow jumbo frets on the rosewood fingerboard easy to play. In addition, this construction contributes to a nice long sustain and excellent resonance. The neck has a vintage soft U-profile that feels instantly familiar. Naturally, this model is built with a relatively short 24.75-inch scale, so the frets are just a bit closer together. This makes it easier to pick up chords.
