The Polara Night Edition is a bit of an atypical Guild guitar. Here, you're looking at a pure, no-nonsense rock-and-metal machine armed with a single humbucker and finished with an all-black paint-job. The Guild HB-2+ alnico V humbucker mounted on the mahogany body guarantees a forceful foundation sound, while the dark ebony fretboard features an extra-flat, 15.75-inch radius to ease bends and counter unwanted note death. If you're looking for a trusty workhorse, then this Newark St. Collection model is a risk-free pick.
