With the IC420, Ibanez presents a 100% genuine Iceman complete the with classic body shape and familiar sonic trimmings - just at a more attainable price. Both the body and securely set-in, three-piece neck have been hewn from okoume while the fretboard has been made from jatoba, completing a timeless, full and warm foundation sound with a light bite in the trebles. Meanwhile, PAF-style amplified sound with a nice helping of extra output on top is provided by a set of two classic Ibanez pickups.

The pair of Super 80 humbuckers - one at the bridge and another one at the neck - both bear covers engraved with the iconic Flying Finger and both deliver bright punch, power and clarity. Toggle the focussed sonic output via the three-way pickup switch and the dedicated tone and volume pots per humbucker. Teamed up with a full set of closed oil-bed machine heads and Gibraltar Performer bridge, the sustain-rich core as well as the tuning stability is given a welcome boost and, via the Quik Change III tailpiece, swapping out strings is made that much easier. Polished off with gilded hardware, this is one glorious upstart of an electric guitar. Form-fitting gig bag included.
