Made in Japan, this guitar has been built with love, care and precision, which you can immediately feel as well as hear. The African mahogany body comes loaded with set of DiMarzio PAF 7 humbuckers with a relatively low output topped off with super-present trebles, guaranteeing supreme note-clarity and definition while ensuring that the low-B string never sounds muddy. This setup is ideal for supporting fast and technical riff work, while the RG body has also been topped with a tasteful slice of flame maple outlined in 'natural reveal' binding to boost the aesthetics. The Ibanez J.Custom RG8527 electric guitar comes with a case, a multi-tool, a set of Gotoh strap locks and a certificate of authenticity.

The J.Custom RG8527: A High-Spec Build

As befits a high-end axe, the RG8527 comes fitted with a satisfyingly slim and uber-stable, 5-piece maple-and-wenge neck, finished with a custom Super Wizard profile. This, combined with a set of trusty Gotoh-designed machine heads ensures superb tuning stability, while the macassar ebony fretboard has been furnished with an elegant 'Tree of Life' inlay and twenty-four jumbo frets, where each fret has been specially treated to get rid of any sharp edges. The fretboard has a flat 16.9-inch radius for optimum grip on the strings and eased bends, and to accommodate extreme vibrato tricks, Ibanez have completed the build with a Lo-Pro Edge double locking tremolo bridge.
