The professionals at Ibanez continue to bolster their Premium electric guitar line up with choices that will surprise you, delight you and ensure you're seen as well as heard! That includes this RG1070FM that has DiMarzio pickups in a versatile HSH configuration. The body is made of African mahogany and has a beautiful 4 mm-thick flamed maple top. The stable neck is bolted on and made of 11 pieces of panga panga, maple, walnut and purpleheart. The RG1070FM even comes complete with a gig bag.
RG1070FM: big, dynamic and versatile
The resulting sound is not only warm, but has plenty of punch too. The three DiMarzio pickups start with The Tone Zone humbucker at the bridge that has a high output giving you a big sound and plenty of scope for expressive playing. In the mid position, there's a sweet, bright True Velvet single-coil, while the powerful Air Norton at the neck offers rich overtones. The RG1070FM also has an Edge tremolo bridge that allows you to add extreme vibrato effects to your playing, while the locking string nut and Gotoh MG-T locking machine heads ensure excellent tuning stability.
