The meranti body provides a clear-and-sharp core sound while the pair of Quantum humbuckers support fast staccatos with a precise treble and bass response. Thanks to the 5-way pickup switch, tone pot and volume control, picking out your favourite sound from the broad range of tonal flavours that are on the table here is easy, and so is firing off notes since the Wizard III neck, 24 jumbo frets and relatively flat jatoba fretboard guarantee a fast-and-smooth playing feel. Once set up to your liking, the easily adjustable F106 bridge allows you to keep full focus on your playing.

Het geluid is beter dan ik me had voorgesteld. Ik ben gewend aan mijn gretsch 5421 , die het met deze stemmingen al heel goed deed, maar, zoals de recenties op youtube al laten zien, is deze ibanez voor het zware werk zeer geschikt.
Speelt heerlijk, heb de snaren vervangen door ernie ball regilar skinny0.09 serie.
