This Ibanez RG6UCS-MYF Prestige Uppercut no-nonsense electric guitar was made in Japan using the best components, including Bare Knuckle Aftermath humbucker pickups. They deliver a fast bass response with sublime tracking for ultra-fast riffs and leads. This guitar's mid-tones cut right through any mix, and the high offers just the right amount of articulation. In short, this instrument is ideal for the modern metal guitarist, but is suitable for other genres as well.
RG Uppercut: top-notch components
The basswood body of this guitar gives its a slightly airy sound. The 5-piece maple/walnut neck, which is reinforced with a titanium truss rod, has an ebony fretboard and plays extremely smoothly thanks to the Super Wizard HP profile and jumbo frets. For fun whammy options, Ibanez equipped this RG with a Lo-Pro Edge tremolo system.
