General
The superior Ibanez RGIF8-BKS is a guitar with a stylish black oil-based finish. It's a solid-body with 8 strings, which puts it somewhere between a standard electric guitar and a baritone. This RG from the Iron Label series has fanned frets, which means that the scale length goes from long to standard. For a tight low F# you get 27.26 inches while the high E string is still flexible thanks to 25.5 inches.
Ibanez RGIF8-BKS: comfortable and solid
The Black Stained RGIF8 has a fixed Mono-rail bridge with eight individual saddles that combine to ensure tuning stability. It also provides extra sustain to the balanced, prominent sound from the ash body. The bolt-on 5 piece maple and bubinga neck, with rosewood fretboard, completes the acoustic sound of this 8-string RG guitar, with a pleasantly rounded punch. With a stable Nitro Wizard-8 neck and a flatter 15.74-inch fretboard with 24 jumbo frets, quick and comfortable solos and rhythms are possible.
EMG 909X
With EMG pickups you will be prepared for anything. This Iron Label guitar has active 909X humbuckers in the bridge and neck positions to ensure that all eight strings are picked up properly. Both X humbuckers give you the benefits of active pickups, with an organic character and extra headroom. The resulting amplified sound is defined with particularly lively overtones. This is also partly due to the Alnico V magnet core that gives the lower notes more bottom end without losing tightness. The 3-way pickup switch and potentiometers offer an extensive sound palette. With this Ibanez Iron Label you can cover a wide range of music genres ranging from brutal metal to modern jazz.
