The maple and bubinga neck is bolted onto a solid mahogany body. Together with the rosewood fretboard this delivers a prominent sound that emphasises the mid range with lovely rounded highs.

The RGIR20BFE has a stable Gibraltar Standard II bridge that provides extra tuning stability and sustain. This Iron Label guitar also features two EMG active humbuckers: an 81 in the bridge position and a 60 in the neck position. The first produces tight, consistent metal and rock sounds, while the second double-coil pickup delivers fat sounds with enough punch for styles like classic rock or blues rock.
