If you're looking for an electric guitar that's perfect for rock or metal, and comes in something other than black, then the RGIR20BFE Walnut Flat, with a natural finish, from Ibanez's Iron Label series is what you want. The maple and bubinga neck is bolted onto a solid mahogany body. Together with the rosewood fretboard this delivers a prominent sound that emphasises the mid range with lovely rounded highs.
Ibanez RGIR20BFE-WNF: affordable quality and playing comfort
Much like the other guitars in the Iron Label series, the RGIR20BFE Walnut Flat is a high-quality instrument that represents excellent value for money. The white bindings around the top and the fretboard are just one example of the attention to detail. Optimal playing comfort is another area where Ibanez haven't taken any shortcuts. The jumbo frets, flatter fretboard radius and thin, yet solid Nitro Wizard neck allow you to quickly and easily play lead and rhythm parts on the Ibanez electric solid-body.
Gibraltar Standard II and EMG pickups
The RGIR20BFE has a stable Gibraltar Standard II bridge that provides extra tuning stability and sustain. This Iron Label guitar also features two EMG active humbuckers: an 81 in the bridge position and a 60 in the neck position. The first produces tight, consistent metal and rock sounds, while the second double-coil pickup delivers fat sounds with enough punch for styles like classic rock or blues rock.

Ibanez has added two guitars to its Iron Label RG series: the RG and the RG-7. These are real metal machines but with a spalted maple top and headstock. Apart from that, they have the standard Iron Label RG features, with two EMG humbuckers, 24 jumbo frets and a neck made of maple and bubinga.
