The Ibanez RGIR27E, a model from the Iron Label series, has been developed to create the ultimate metal sound and playing style. This model has seven strings, a neat, black finish and the double cutaway body is made of basswood. Fast playing guitarists will love the Nitro Wizard-type neck which is made of three parts with maple and bubinga wood. The rosewood fretboard has 24 jumbo frets and allows for very smooth and fast playing.

The extra string on the Ibanez RGIR27E greatly expands its harmonic and melodic options. The two EMG 707s transform your playing into electric signals. This pickup model has been used for many years to pick up the vibrations of 7 strings for a balanced and powerful sound. The Alnico V magnets help the pickups to produce a rich sound in the entire frequency range, including the low B string. The Edge-Zero II-7 tremolo bridge gives you extra expression during solo parts and offers a stable factor even during intensive use. From Opeth to Dream Theater: This Ibanez is always the right tool.

Ibanez has added two guitars to its Iron Label RG series: the RG and the RG-7. These are real metal machines but with a spalted maple top and headstock. Apart from that, they have the standard Iron Label RG features, with two EMG humbuckers, 24 jumbo frets and a neck made of maple and bubinga.
